I was selected for a CE audit. What do I need to do?
If you are selected for an audit, you will receive a letter and email containing instructions on how to complete this process using CE Broker. If a licensee already has a CE Broker account, they simply need to ensure that all of their CE for the specified audit period is uploaded into the account. TMB will be able to access their account and verify compliance via CE Broker. If a licensee does not have a CE Broker account, they will need to create one and upload all of their CE credits. A free, basic account is all that is required to comply with the audit requirements. However, once a licensee is selected for an audit, CE Broker will automatically upgrade their account for free - for the duration of the audit - to a more premium version that provides additional tools to help further simplify CE tracking and compliance. Once the audit is complete, CE Broker will automatically switch licensees back to a free, basic account unless they proactively choose to pay for an upgraded option.
