On December 20, 2024, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Acupuncture Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas Acupuncture license of ShangJin Shi, AC (Lic. No. AC01454).
The Board panel found that on August 14, 2024, Mr. Shi was arrested by the Houston Police Department for sexual assault felony second degree.
A temporary suspension hearing with notice will be held as soon as practicable with 10 days' notice to Mr. Shi, unless the hearing is specifically waived by Mr. Shi.
The temporary suspension remains in place until the Board takes further action.
