On May 14, 2026, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas medical radiologic technologist certificate of Uriel Medrano, LMRT (Lic. No. LMR02002262), after determining his continuation in practice as a medical radiologic technologist would constitute a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.
The Board panel found that Mr. Medrano habitually used drugs or intoxicating liquors to the extent that it interferes with his ability to practice as a medical radiologic technologist safely.
A temporary suspension hearing with notice will be held as soon as practicable with 10 days' notice to Mr. Medrano unless the hearing is specifically waived by Mr. Medrano.
The temporary suspension remains in place until the Board takes further action.
