On June 9, 2023, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Physician Assistant Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas physician assistant license of Michael Howard Langfus, P.A. (Lic. No. PA01338), after determining his continuation in the practice as a physician assistant poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.
The Board panel found that Mr. Langfus suffers from an impairment that interferes with his ability to practice safely as a physician assistant.
A temporary suspension hearing with notice will be held as soon as practicable with 10 days' notice to Mr. Langfus, unless the hearing is specifically waived by Mr. Langfus.
The temporary suspension remains in place until the Board takes further action.
