On February 27, 2024, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended, with notice, the Texas medical license of Robert Gerard Jakubowski, M.D., (Lic. No. G9479) after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.
The Board panel found Dr. Jakubowski touched a patient’s breasts in a sexual manner and not in the manner of performing a breast exam, without the patient’s consent and without any medical purpose. Dr. Jakubowski was also in violation of his 2018 order by not having a chaperone present during the exam.
The temporary suspension remains in place until the Board takes further action.
