Sharon J. Barnes
Sharon J. Barnes, of Rosharon, is the Chief Human Resources Officer for the San José Clinic in Houston as she held various HR and technical roles at Freeport LNG and the Dow Chemical Company, respectively. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Chemical Society; and she is a board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County. Additionally, she is a member and former board secretary for the National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers. She holds a foundation board seat for CHI St. Luke's - Brazosport and she is a former board member of the United Way of Brazoria County. Barnes is also in her second term as board member for the Baylor University Alumni Association, "The Baylor Line Foundation". A former city council member in Lake Jackson, Barnes received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Baylor University and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix.
