Texas Physician Assistant Board Suspends Texas City Physician Assistant (Seiter)

On December 10, 2025, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Physician Assistant Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas Physician Assistant license of Stephen Lee Seiter, P.A. (Lic. No. PA13946), after determining his continuation in the practice as a physician assistant poses a continuing threat to public welfare after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.

 

David Lindzey, M.D.

David Lindzey, M.D., of Spicewood, is a physician at Ascension Physician Group. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and former board member for the Texas Hospital Association and Volunteer Hospitals of America. Lindzey received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Medicine from TTU Medical Center.

Sharon Carr

Sharon Carr, of Canadian, is retired. She previously served as the director of the Hemphill County Juvenile Bootcamp. She is vice president of the board for Hemphill County Hospital and a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Carr received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Texas A&M University (TAMU).

TMB Suspends San Antonio Physician (Perez)

On November 25, 2025, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas medical license of Gabriel Moses Perez, M.D. (Lic. No. M8247), after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.

 

The Board panel found that on November 21, 2025, Dr. Perez was arrested for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, a first-degree felony.

 

TMB Disciplines 21 Physicians at October Meeting

At its October 17, 2025, meeting, the Texas Medical Board disciplined 21 licensed physicians.

 

The disciplinary actions included: seven orders related to standard of care, four voluntary surrenders, four orders related to peer review or other states’ actions, two orders related to unprofessional conduct, two revocations, one order related to impairment, and one Final Order.

TMB Suspends Mesquite Surgical Assistant (Walker)

On November 13, 2025, a disciplinary panel of the Texas Medical Board temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas surgical assistant license of Marvin M. Walker, Jr., SA (Lic. No. SA00690), after determining his continuation in practice poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately.

 

The Board panel found that Mr. Walker habitually used drugs or intoxicating liquors to the extent that, in the medical board's opinion, he cannot safely perform as a surgical assistant.
