How to Apply

Visit employment opportunities at the CAPPS Recruit website. 

• Click on posting and select Apply Online.
• Accept the Privacy Agreement by selecting  I Accept.
• If first-time user click on New User tab to create username and password.  You must enter your own email address to set up an account.
• TMB cannot assist with passwords or usernames.  Please e-mail SSA.security@cpa.texas.gov.

• You must submit an employment application for every position you are applying for.
• All applications must be received by 12:00 a.m. CST of the job posting closing date.
• All fields on the employment application must be completed.  Do not leave any fields blank.
• Resumes are not accepted in lieu of a State of Texas Employment Application.
• TMB doe not sponsor H-1B visas and applicants must reside in the Texas.
• No dual employment with other state Texas agencies or Pubic Education Institutions is permitted.
• TMB only accepts online applications for current job vacancies.  Resumes are not accepted in lieu of a State of Texas employment application
• If selected for an interview, the hiring manager will contact you directly.  TMB does not reimburse for any travel expenses to participate in job interviews.

• If you are a male between the ages of 18 and 25, you must show proof that you are registered with the Selective Service System or that you are exempt from registration.
• TMB participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) with information on Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
• Email the Human Resources Department for:
  • A request for reasonable accommodation during the application process. It is helpful to email as early as possible in the application or employment process.
  • Updates on your employment application if unable to verify your status through your CAPPS account.
  • Questions concerning the Texas Veterans Preference Act, which the TMB follows
