Imran A. Dar, M.D., of Houston is an Associate Professor and Interventional Cardiologist at UT Health – Center 
for Advanced Cardiology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology 
and the American Heart Association. Dar received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from West Virginia University 
and a Doctor of Medicine from the West Virginia School of Medicine.

Sonia K. Sanderson

Sonia K. Sanderson, of Beaumont, is a paralegal with Exxon Mobil Corporation Law Department. She is a member of the American Alliance of Paralegal, Inc. and a former member of the Southeast Texas Paralegal Association. Sanderson is also a volunteer with Julie Rogers’ Gift of Life Program and the United Way of Southeast Texas. Sanderson received a bachelor’s degree from Lamar University.

 

Nathan A. Rodrigues, RCP

Nathan Rodrigues, of Round Rock, is an assistant professor of respiratory care at Texas State University. He is a licensed member of the National Board for Respiratory Care, Texas Society for Respiratory Care, and the American College of Respiratory Therapy Education. Nathan received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Texas State University.

 

Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners Suspends Houston Acupuncturist (Ho)

On April 26, 2023, a disciplinary panel of the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners temporarily suspended, without notice, the Texas acupuncturist license of Huy Xuan Ho, L.Ac. (Lic. No. AC00986), after determining his continuation in the practice of acupuncture poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The suspension was effective immediately. 

 

The Board panel found that Mr. Ho engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a patient while performing a therapeutic massage on the patient.  

 

Samuel L. Brown, Jr.

Samuel L. Brown, Jr., of Marshall, is the Assistant IT Manager and Network Administrator for Louis A. Williams & Associates. He previously served as a Computer Lab Technician at East Texas Baptist University. He is a former little league football and basketball coach with the Boys and Girls Club of America. Brown received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from East Texas Baptist University and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Tarleton State University.

 

Timothy R. Chappell, M.D.

Timothy R. “Tim” Chappell, M.D., of Plano, is a pulmonary and critical care physician in private practice at Collin County Pulmonary Associates. He is medical director of the School for Respiratory Care at Collin College. He is a fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine with board certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and Collin County Medical Society.
