COMING SOON! Continuing Education Tracking with CE Broker.
The Texas Medical Board is partnering with CE Broker, an online continuing education compliance platform, to provide our licensees with an additional tool to help them more easily find, track, and report continuing education coursework.
Beginning June 1, 2024, all physician licensees will have the option to establish a free, basic account with CE Broker.
TMB will then roll-out access to all licensees on a quarterly basis and by license type (i.e. physician, RCP, PA, etc.) between June 1, 2024 and June 1, 2025. Licensees will be contacted by TMB when their license type is eligible to create an account with CE Broker.
If you’re a TMB licensee, here's what you need to know right NOW:
- CE Broker is OPTIONAL. Licensees do not have to utilize CE Broker to meet current statutory continuing education requirements.
- You will never have to pay for a CE Broker Basic Account. However, licensees will have the option to subscribe to an upgraded account, which offers additional CME tracking tools.
- You will not be able to create a CE Broker account until your license type becomes eligible. Licensees will receive advance notice of their license type’s go-live date.
